avant garde film review

for my avant garde film, I watched An Andalusian Dog. It was an interesting experience, but not one I particularly enjoyed. I have found that personally I am not a big fan of expermental film; I feel film is a means of storytelling, and experimental is at most a lazy and often unnessasarry means for doing so. Still, I put down my opinions and made myself watch An Andalusian Dog. His artistic touch is clear, and most of his shots were beautiful, but I didn't understand why he made it.".
